  1. I need to say, use parchment paper (baking paper) and never aluminum foil in the oven. Aluminum foil is not inherently toxic, but can leach small amounts of aluminum into food, especially with high heat.

  2. Great advice and recipes look great. I have been feeding my chihuahua home prepared food for years but she still is a fussy eater 😅

  3. I’m new to making homemade dog food, and wanted to know if you could give your opinion on what I’m making for our dogs. I’d also like to know how much I should feed my dogs per day. We have a 6 to 7 of yorkie and an 10 to 11 lb Maltese mix. We are currently feeding approximately 1 cup of the following to each split into two feedings per day.
    Dog food recipe:
4 lbs of chicken or turkey
    1/2 lb of beef liver
    One zucchini (shredded)
    Half an apple (shredded)
10 to 15 tsp of sunflower seeds (ground)
Thinking of adding sardines (in water), cooked egg, berries, sweet potatoes and or broccoli.
Any feedback would be appreciated greatly.

  4. Dogs can have chicken bones ? I was raised that they cannot have a chicken bone bc it would choke them? Am I the only one ?
