We just lost our dog to cancer. She was only 5 years old. The most fantastic animal. We have many pets. Now 5 dogs and 8 cats. They are all mourning our beloved Abby (Abigail). The thing is the more we research the more we realise how completely insane the petfood industry is. What goes in to petfood is a rather scary fact and awakening for us. We are in the process of making adjustments to their diet. It takes a bit of doing since we have so many.
I think you mean cadmium, a toxic heavy metal when you say and write “cadium”. Cadmium was commonly used to prevent corrosion on steel screws and fittings a generation ago. As result we have widespread trace cadmium in our environment, food and water. In fact all of the heavy metal contaminants are due human manufacturing and mineral extration activity since the industrial revolution.
